Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What glove box models are available?

A: We offer the Etelux Lab2000 Standard Series in 1500mm / 1800mm / 2400mm lengths, with integrated or split-type purification units, in both single-sided (1–4 glove ports/stations) and double-sided (for two-operator or cleanroom-lab transfer) configurations. Battery R&D and custom isolation versions are also available.

Q2: What O₂ and H₂O levels can the purification system achieve?

A: When operated with high-purity inert gas (N₂ or Ar), our purification system maintains O₂ and H₂O consistently below 1 ppm (typical <0.5 ppm in well-sealed systems after stabilization).

Q3: Which inert gases are compatible and what purity is needed?

A: Nitrogen (N₂) or Argon (Ar) with O₂ & H₂O <10 ppm is recommended for circulation. Column regeneration requires 3–5% Hydrogen (H₂) balanced with N₂ or Ar at ≥99.995% purity with appropriate safety precautions.

Q4: How is the antechamber (airlock) operated for sample transfer?

A: The antechamber is evacuated then backfilled with inert gas. We recommend 3 pump-down / refill cycles before opening the inner door to the main chamber. Automatic purge cycle control is available on most models.

Q5: What standard accessories do you supply?

A: We stock and supply Edwards vacuum pumps, oil mist filters, vacuum butterfly valves, KF40 test line connectors, KF40-BNC & Ethernet interfaces, pneumatic baffle valves, power cord plugs, bellows hoses, clamps, high-precision trace O₂ analyzer (OXY-IQ GE) & trace H₂O/dew point meter (GE VeriDri), organic solvent adsorption system, gloves, glove sealing covers, efficient filter cartridges, and precision water cooling machines—as part of system packages or individual spare parts.

Q6: Can you customize the glove box for my specific instrument or process?

A: Yes. With 16+ years of experience and in-house CNC/gantry machining centers plus helium leak detection, we offer custom chamber dimensions, extra glove/feedthrough ports (electrical, optical, gas/vacuum), viewing window upgrades, and cutouts for microscopes, evaporators, battery testers, etc. Send us your drawing or requirement for review.

Q7: How do I get a quote?

A: Use the inquiry form on any product page or email [email protected] with your application, preferred model, number of stations, required accessories, and delivery country. Our sales engineers will respond with a detailed quotation and datasheets.

Q8: What payment methods are accepted?

A: We accept T/T (Wire Transfer)PayPal, and Visa / MasterCard via secure SSL checkout. For institutional and corporate orders, standard payment terms are 30% deposit with order and 70% before shipment. Letter of Credit (L/C) is negotiable for qualifying accounts.

Q9: What are the shipping terms, lead time, and import responsibilities?

A: Standard Lab2000 models: 6–10 weeks from order confirmation. Custom/engineered systems: 10–14 weeks. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, delivery is EXW (Ex Works) our facility per Incoterms® 2020. We can coordinate ocean (FCL/LCL) or air freight with your forwarder. Buyer is responsible for all freight charges, import duties, taxes, and customs clearance.

Q10: Is installation support and training provided?

A: Yes—comprehensive English installation manuals, wiring diagrams, and FAT documentation are provided. We offer remote commissioning guidance via video call at no extra cost, and can arrange on-site installation and operator training upon request (travel & accommodation fees may apply).

Q11: What warranty do you provide?

A: All glove box systems manufactured by us are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of shipment. Consumables (gloves, O-rings, filters, purification media), wear items, and damage due to misuse or improper maintenance are excluded. Our sole obligation is, at our option, to repair or replace the defective component.

Q12: What routine maintenance is required?

A: Inspect gloves before each use and replace if punctured or degraded. Check HEPA/organic solvent adsorption filters every 6 months. Purification columns are regenerable and typically last 1–3 years based on gas quality and usage. We supply all replacement consumables and can advise on regeneration procedures.
